Turkish Technic and myTechnic signed “Technical Service, Material and Slot Allocation Agreement”

Technical Service, Material Sales/Lease, and Hangar Slot Allocation Purchase Agreement, valid for five years, was signed by Dr. Ismail Demir (General Manager) and Dr. Fuat Oktay (Executive V.P. Commerce) on behalf of Turkish Technic, and by Daglar Cizmeci (Board Member), Cankut Bagana (Board Member) on behalf of myTechnic on January 6th, 2009.

 

The agreement includes technical service purchase, material sales/lease and hangar slot allocation based on the capacity requirements of both companies.

 

Dr. Ismail Demir, the General Manager of Turkish Technic said,” Aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul industry is being nominated as one of the leading sectors in Turkey. Turkish Technic, pioneer and leader of this sector, continues its activities being aware of the responsibility for more contribution to Turkish economy.  Working in harmony with the other actors of the sector, the agreement signed with the new Turkish actor myTechnic, creates an important opportunity in order to meet our periodical increasing capacity needs. I sincerely believe that the agreement would be beneficial for Turkish Civil Aviation Industry.”


Daglar Cizmeci, Board Member of myTechnic, mentioned his feelings after the agreement as follows: “I wish the agreement signed between the companies would be good for Turkish and Regional Civil Aviation Industry. This agreement will be an important step for Turkey in order to become a civil aviation maintenance center in its region. By improving  mutual trust,  Civil Aviation Knowledge of our country will be used more efficiently and productively.”

myTechnic Aircraft Maintenance and Overhaul Center, 59.731 square meter of land and 47.500 square meter facility situated at Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, has the capacity to serve twelve (12) light jets, six (6) narrow body and/or four (4) wide body aircrafts at the same time. myTechnic has/plans to have maintenance and overhaul authorization for Airbus A300B2/B4, Airbus A320 series, Boeing 737 CL and NG series, Boeing 757 series, MD80 series aircrafts and CF6 series engines and JT8D engines, aircraft paint and similar maintenance activities in its facility.
