SunExpress signed Wheel & Brake maintenance services contracts for B737-800 with Turkish Technic

Turkish Technic, had signed wheel & brake maintenance services agreements for B737-800 fleet with SunExpress. Shop visits will be carried at Turkish Technic’s facilities in Istanbul, Turkey duration of additional 5 years period.
Turkish Technic declared that “Thanking SunExpress for choosing Turkish Technic for Wheel & Brake maintenance services, Turkish Technic is proud to be the main maintenance service provider of SunExpress fleet”.
SunExpress officers expressed their happiness in keeping on the strong partnership and good relationship between two important actors of Turkish civil aviation.
Turkish Technic, an association of Turkish Airlines group companies (Istanbul Stock Exchange: THYAO), is the leading maintenance center in its region, providing technical services for Airframe, Engine, APU and components for a wide range of Airlines from Europe, Middle East, CIS, Northern Africa and Turkey in its base in Istanbul, with a highly qualified and well-trained workforce of 3.000 personnel.
SunExpress operates a fleet of 23 airplanes with an average age of 7.2 years and a seating capacity of more than 4422 seats. The fleet shows highest industry and environmental standards. By this year May 1st, SunExpress celebrated its 20th year and has carried more than 30 million passengers since 1990. SunExpress is a joint venture company of Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa.
