Aircraft Overhaul Division is responsible for all base and heavy maintenance activities.
Airframe / Powerplant On-Wing Base/Heavy Maintenance Division is responsible for all base and heavy maintenance activities.
For years we have been performing all checks (up to and including D&S checks), covering the whole range from narrow-body Boeing aircraft to Airbus 340.
Turkish Technic airframe / powerplant On-Wing Base / Heavy Maintenance Division’s capabilities cover a wide range of aircraft which listed in the table below.
Base & Heavy Maintenance
For years we have been performing all checks (up to and including D&S checks) stated in Aircraft Maintenance Services/General information for THY fleet and miscellaneous customers . Our main goal is customer satisfaction by minimizing ground time and maximizing customer revenue.
Turkish Technic can also perform the following specific tasks:
• Special Modifications such as cockpit door, elevator, fuel flow switch modification etc.
• Certification and development of avionics modifications such as TCAS, EGPWS etc.
• Structural repair
• Delivery, re-delivery and bridging checks
• Landing gear replacement
• Rib 5-6 modification
• Engine replacement on all types stated in type rating list in Turkish Technic MOE
• Pylon removal for inspection tasks
• Unscheduled task inspection and reporting such as hard landing, bird strike
• Full video boroscope and also MPA run on all engine types stated in type rating list in Turkish Technic MOE
Airframe activities are performed in two enclosed hangars located in Istanbul Ataturk Airport. Hangar 2 possesses the curtain system dividing hangar into two, which allows painting A/C separately in an environmentally controlled hangar and two telescopic platforms enabling to approach to aircraft easily from all sides.
