Atlasjet Signs Repair Contract for Two APS3200 APU with Turkish Technic

Turkish Technic, signed APS3200 APU repair services contact with Atlasjet which covers 2 APU repair and spare support during shop visits. Repair work will be carried out at Turkish Technic's APU shop in Istanbul, Turkey; from the beginning of May to end of June 2010.
Turkish Technic declared that “Thanking Atlasjet for choosing Turkish Technic for the performance APU shop visits. We are committed to provide quality services satisfying the expectations of Atlasjet that is our good and long term relationship in the Turkish Civil Aviation Sector with minimum turn-around times”.
Atlasjet officers expressed that they are glad to have the contract signed with Turkish Technic, a strong partner to fulfill all of their maintenance needs.

TURKISH TECHNIC signs Component Pool Services Agreement with Pegasus Airlines, which covers all B737NG’s in Pegasus Airlines fleet for 10 years. In addition to Component Pool Services, TURKISH TECHNIC will provide 15 C-Checks to Pegasus Airlines and IzAir fleets as well as 7 redelivery checks, 7 landing gear overhaul and painting services for 10 aircraft in 2011.
Turkish Technic Signed an Agreement for Aircraft Seat Production Industry and Trade Inc.

Turkish Airlines, Turkish Technic and Assan Hanil Automotive Industry and Trade Co. a subsidiary of Kibar Holding, launched agreement to design and manufacture all types of aircraft seats, logistic support, modification and also to provide sales-marketing services under Joint Venture.
May 24, 2011. Turkish Airlines, Turkish Technic and Assan Hanil Automotive Industry and Trade Co., agreed to the launch of a joint venture company to manufacture Aircraft Seats in Turkey. The joint venture company, known as Aircraft Seat Production Industry and Trade Inc. will design and manufacture all types of aircraft Seats, logistic support, modification and also to provide marketing services under Joint Venture as well.
The Joint Venture Company will manufacture seats for economy class in the first stage, then business class seats. It aims to produce light weight and high quality seats at competitive prices by focusing on the issue of weight which has great importance and directly affect fuel consumption in the aviation industry. The company aims to sell products to Turkish operators and European Airline Companies as a priority. As a result of the comprehensive feasibility studies in addition to the production of seats, is expected to become PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval - Approved Equipment Manufacturer) that produce parts of seat for the other brands within the company's first 4-years.
“While our country is advancing step by step towards the production of various aircraft units, following Joint Venture Company for the production of galley and cabin equipment, with this new structure, we are taking an aggressive initiative, on behalf of Turkish Aviation Industry. We would like to meet many aircraft in the world with a %100 Turkish brand in the Aircraft Cabin. We claim that Turkey will be a maintenance, repair and also manufacturing hub that should be taken seriously via this structuring in the near future.” said Turkish Airlines and Turkish Technic Chairman of the Board, Mr. Hamdi Topcu.
“We really glad to transfer our highest design and production technology in seating systems from automotive to a new sector. We are now focused on developing high-value-added products and technology in our Ministry of Industry and Trade approved R&D center, which was established in December 2010. With this business, we are aiming to be a fundamental stone of Turkish Aviation sector. I believe that this joint venture will be one of the important players with the support of its partners after achieving the necessary product certifications in near future.’’ stated Assan Hanil Automotive Industry and Trade Co. APU services support for SunExpress Deutschland’s Boeing Fleet.
Support for entire fleet of current and future Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Turkish Technic signed total APU support agreement with SunExpress Deutschland GmbH for all fleet of B737-800 aircraft for 5 years. This total support includes spare APU support, APU repair /overhaul and APU field services.
Current program covers 3 aircraft APU’s maintenance to be carried at Turkish Technic’s Istanbul facilities.

Turkish Technic and GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) have signed an APS3200 APU repair services contract in March 2011, which covers two APS3200 model APU repair of GECAS. Services will be carried out at Turkish Technic’s APU shop in Istanbul, Turkey.

Turkish Technic signed total landing gear support agreement with SunExpress Deutschland GmbH for all fleet of B737-800 aircraft for 4 years. This total support includes landing gear removal/installation, spare support and landing gear overhaul.
Current program covers 3 LDG set maintenance to be carried at Turkish Technic’s Istanbul facilities.

Turkish Technic and Thomas Cook Airlines (Belgium) have signed an APS3200 APU repair services contract in December 2010, which covers one APS3200 model APU repair of Thomas Cook Airlines (Belgium). Services will be carried out at Turkish Technic’s APU shop in Istanbul, Turkey.
